IELTS WRITING TASK 1 PRACTICE

If you are aiming to continue your study abroad, one of requirements that you need to provide is an english proficiency document. There are some tests designed to assess the abilty of english to those who live in non english speaking countries. TOEFL and IELTS are the most common ones, eventhough there are still others. Generally, TOEFL is the most preference for USA universities while IELTS is the best choice for Britain and Australia University.
Taking an ielts test, you need to complete 4 session tasks given. They are speaking, listening, reading and writing sessions. In writing part, there are two kinds of questions, task 1 (presenting a chart, graphic, etc) and the other is task 2 (usually two side essay). Here I want to make an example for task 1 in ielts writing test with a sample answer of my own.

The chart above shows the top 4 preferences countries for  vietnamesse students at tertiary level between 2006 and 2010 periods. In general trend, the number of students in Vietnam who want to continue their study abroad is increasing in the following year. USA became the first choice country of Vietnamese students to continue their study at tertier level during the period given.
In 2006, USA and France accounted the similar number of student enrolment at around 4700 students. But in the following period, they showed a gap at approximately 1000 students for USA leading to France. An interesting fact was in 2009, where USA increased significantly, accounted more than doubled it accounted in 2006. During that periods (2006-2009) France only showed a slowly increase. From 2009 onward, both of them increased considerabely slightly.                Australia started at around 3000 students enrolment in 2006, then demonstrated a significant rise in the following year. In 2008, it overtook france as the better choice for Vietnamesse  student.  At the end of period given, it accounted more than triple compare to they had in 2006. Japan, however it showed a promising improvement at the end of the periods still was the lowest preferences compare to others.
